stories from our community
It was Maria Montessori herself who once said that the art of Montessori -- which simply means finding the best way to help the child become who he or she was meant to become -- is an art that joins home and school. Pull up a chair and immerse yourself in stories from students, teachers, and parents, that highlight how we Montessori together.

PagkaMASARAP: a pop-up restaurant by the upper elementary children
"When the day of the event arrived, I was so excited. More than being head chef, I ended up helping the waiters, and went table to table to talk to the diners about their feedback and recommendations. I appreciated the work of everybody in the class who all played their part: from the doorman, to the waiters, the cooks, cleaners and dishwashers, entertainers, and the managers. I learned that big things can be accomplished by hard work and teamwork."
- R, Head Chef of PagkaMASARAP 2024
May 2024
The Upper Elementary (Level 2) children came up with plans for a one-day pop-up restaurant event. They served a full course meal -- from appetizers, salads, entrees to dessert. The event was initiated and planned by the 6th graders who took care of researching, creating the menu, canvasing, marketing, cooking, and training their younger classmates to be staff members. The 4th and 5th graders took on the roles of doormen, dishwashers, entertainers, waiters, junior cooks, and cleaners. With the eldest children at the helm, each child took on a role, doing their jobs with great enthusiasm and a love for the work.
The event was enjoyed by the families of the children who commended the food, service, and efforts of the children.
